Hi Marta,
What would you like to know?
I actually keep a small group of them, 8-9 specimen.
They are only found in the northern part of the Lake, Burundi.
Like the Tetraodon Mbu they are mostly found in the river area close to the lake and from there enter the lake.
They live in the shallow areas where rivers enter the lake.
Males are quite colourful and females are very pale coloured.
A lot of people have problems keeping them as specimens die without reason.
I think thats related to their age, as most people buy the most colourful specimen (the oldest ones!).
Like all killi's their livespan is very short, approx 2 years.
They are bred easily, you only need large qtys plants like riccia fluitans.
Here is a video from a dutch forum member breeding them with a mop used to clean the floor :))
